The Hip Hop Culture Center provided a creative arts presentation using Hip Hop dialogue and a health-related lyrics to captivate the crowd.

The purpose of this conference was to enhance the participants’ knowledge of potential causes, contributors, and strategies to reduce racial/ethnic mental health disparities during the preconception/interconception, prenatal and postpartum periods among women of African descent.


The conference was designed for obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, family physicians, midwives, nurses, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, health educators, community health workers,  administrators,  students,  and other health care providers.
