H2C2 conducted a tour for Purdue Black Cultural Center Performing Arts Ensembles that featured a stroll down Hip Hop lane. They had the opportunity to visit the largest old school flyer collection, view portraits of Hip Hop pioneers, and learn the fundamentals of Hip Hop. The tour included a panel discussion with Kool Herc, Grand Wizard Theodore, Sherri Sher of Mercedes Ladies, Shirt King Phade, and Havelock Nelson. In addition, the students participated in a Graffiti art workshop, where they learned historical significance of the art form and had the chance to design their own pair of white canvas converse using markers.
