In my life its black on black crime drugs and violence
Teenage mothers diseases and rape charges
50 shots 5 cops and 1 fiance crying
1 murder and no weapons now tell me who’s lying
Who’s guilty of weapons of mass destruction
Which family suffers and deal with the repercussions
Now tell me what they fighting for with the war in Iraq
I dont know but they need to go and send our solider back
Word Nicolette  you really speak the truth
Yea well they call me the voice of the youth
I just see with my eyes and speak whats n my mind
Then go home and express myself through my rhymes
In my life its just the everyday struggle
In my life im just trynna survive in the jungle (jungle)
Ladies and gentlemen im just like you
So lets see what a voice and some knowledge can do
How the cops can shoot the blacks and nobody’s guilty
How rappers got millions of dollars but their hood filthy
They said the hood and the struggle made them who they are
But how often do they come through and give back to ya’ll
Now tell me how they cant find a cure for A.I.D.S.
How many more people gotta die this way
Or from gun violence you know how many died today
That’s why i say protect yourself but in a positive way
Use condoms not guns for your own protection
Cause when you die there’s no resurrection
Pay attenetion to my world and whats in it
Cause my world is just like yours and dont forget it
In my life its just the everyday struggle
In my life im just trynna survive in the jungle (jungle)
Ladies and gentlemen im just like you
So lets see what a voice and some knowledge can do
In my life.
